王涛,医学博士,教授,博士生导师,副主任医师。现任国家呼吸系统疾病临床研究中心科研部主任,广州医科大学“南山学者”特聘教授、骨干人才,广东省杰出青年科学基金获得者。学术兼职方面,担任广东省呼吸健康学会肺动脉高压与肺栓塞专业委员会副主任委员、广东省药理学会心血管专业委员会常务委员。主要从事肺动脉高压、肺栓塞等肺血管疾病的临床诊治与转化研究。2009年至2017年在美国学习和工作,获武汉大学与美国乔治亚医学院联合培养博士学位,并在美国弗吉尼亚大学从事血管疾病博士后研究,期间通过美国执业医师资格考试(USMLE Step 1–3)。以第一作者、共同第一作者或通讯作者在 Lancet Haematology、ATVB、AJRCMB、 等国际期刊发表论文30余篇。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目、科技部重大专项、广东省自然科学基金杰出青年基金等多项课题,并担任 Journal of Thoracic Disease 编委及 Biomaterials 等国际期刊审稿人。

课题组始终将人才培养质量置于首位,迄今已累计培养硕士毕业生9人、博士毕业生1人。在已毕业硕士生中,6人继续攻读博士学位(占硕士毕业生总数的67%),2人入职三甲医院临床岗位。已毕业的1名博士生独立获得国家自然科学基金项目资助,充分彰显了课题组优良的学术传承和扎实的育人成效。
