On July 12, 2014, Professor Li Youping from West China Hospital of Sichuan University visited the Laboratory and had a wide academic exchange on the combined research of evidence based medicine and respiratory tract infection.

Professor Li mainly exchanged views with researchers of the Research Institute of the Integration of Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine of Guangzhou Medical University and the team of the Laboratory on the research of evidence based medicine of anti-infective Chinese medicine and inspected the Laboratory and communicated on business. At the discussion, Professor Li shared the integrated research cases of evidence based medicine and respiratory tract infection of West China Hospital. Later, Professor Li visited the clinical experiment department of the Laboratory. The visit has promoted the academic communication of the Institute of the Integration of Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine and the Laboratory.
