To the invitation of Wang Xinhua, president of Guangzhou Medical University and Professor Wang Zhonghua of the Laboratory, Professor James McCluskey, vice president in charge of scientific research of the University of Melbourne and Dr. Chen Zhenjun paid a visit to the Laboratory and Guangzhou Medical University from October 28 to 29. They had an in-depth discussion with Academician Zhong Nanshan and President Wang Xinhua on the possibilities for cooperation at the levels of laboratories, departments and schools among the University of Melbourne, Peter Doherty Institute (PDI) and the Laboratory and each affiliated hospital and Guangzhou Medical University. Both sides had an in-depth communication on their future intentions of cooperation, including the exchanges of scientific researchers and cooperation of scientific research programs.
