On August 5, 2019, Zheng Guanwei, an executive committee member of the STDF Macau, Zhan Shige, deputy director of the Hong Kong-Macau-Taiwan Affairs Office of Natural Natural Science Foundation of China, Liang Jianxiong, a technician of Science Development Fund of Macau paid a visit to Guangzhou Institute of Respiratory Health/the Laboratory.

Both sides had an in-depth exchange and discussion on how to strengthen the close cooperation at the Institute of Respiratory Health, got affirmation and guide from Academician Zhong Nanshan. Both sides were full of expectation in their future cooperation and exchanges, expecting to jointly promote the TCM innovation and transformation for the prevention and treatment of acute and chronic respiratory system diseases.

Later, the experts arrived at Yuexiu Camp of Guangzhou Medical University, and shown by Mo Ziyao, director of instruments and equipment department and director Lu Wenju around the Laboratory, including the biological resource bank, the public instrument platform, respiratory pathological center and the experimental platform of research groups.
