Professor Wu Guizhen, the Chief Editor of the Biosafety and Health under the National Institute for Viral Disease Control and Prevention of China CDC and her team visited SKLRD on the afternoon of August 20.

Professor Wu and her team first visited SKLRD guided by Professor Zhao Jincun, deputy director of SKLRD. Afterwards, they had a friendly communication with the PI of SKLRD and the editorial department of Journal of Thoracic Disease, SKLRD's official publication, to learn experiences from each other.

The two parties exchanged views on the purpose of running journals, template of journals, the experience in running journals, and the development of publications. Both journals have expressed their own dreams in creating and developing excellent journals to enhance China's academic influence in relevant fields in the world and speak for Chinese academics.
