To accelerate the clinical drug research for COVID-19, Academician Nanshan Zhong chaired the discussion on modification plan for Prospective Cohort Study on the Efficacy of Potential Drugs for COVID-19 in the second conference room of SKLRD from 21:00 to 23:30 on January 25.

Attendees to the meeting include leading members of the initiator of this clinical research organization, Director Yuanlin Song of the Respiratory Acute Care Unit of the Zhongshan Hospital of Fudan University, Professor Yimin Li and Physician Xuesong Liu of the Guangzhou Institute of Respiratory Health, the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University, and Deputy Director Jincun Zhao and Associate Professor Yongbo Huang of SKLRD. Professor Haibo Qiu from the Zhongda Hospital of Southeast University also joined the discussion over the phone.

The experts at the meeting seriously discussed the study plan and modified the terms one by one. After the modification, the plan will be soon adopted by hospitals across China to accelerate clinical research, so as to quicken the pace in the exploration of potential clinical drugs for COVID-19.
